Plan the connection
Voltage and phases must match your installation. Equal pricing across voltages does not mean the equipment can freely switch voltage. Confirm the ordered configuration before delivery.
Fuel capacity and runtime
50-litre tank; stated runtime of 12 hours, depending on load and conditions. This duration is not a full-load guarantee.
Fuel capacity alone does not determine runtime. Consumption varies with electrical load and operating conditions. Specify your desired duration so fuel requirements can be assessed.
Warranty: Parts and labour: 1 year or 1,500 hours, whichever comes first. Terms are specified in the quotation.

Would you like automatic operation during an outage?
An automatic transfer switch transfers power between the utility and the generator. In a compatible installation, it detects an outage and coordinates transfer to backup power and then back to the utility.
Transfer switch selection and connection must be adapted to your installation with a qualified professional. Its price is specified separately in the quotation.

Can it supply my entire building?
That depends on actual loads, simultaneous use and starting requirements. Floor area or room count alone cannot determine the required output.
How is runtime determined?
Runtime depends on fuel capacity, consumption at the operating load and operating conditions. Confirm load assumptions before relying on a stated duration.
What should I send for a quotation?
Send a priority equipment list, nameplate photos, voltage and phase count if known. Also describe automatic transfer needs and desired operating duration.
How should maintenance be planned?
For the Perkins models shown, plan oil changes every 250 hours and fuel filter replacement every 500 hours. The engine manual also specifies calendar intervals, other tasks and special conditions.
